The Vernon Township Beautification Committee was established in February of 2016 to address ways to improve the aesthetic value of Vernon.

With Vernon’s master plan identifying tourism as Vernon’s main industry, the physical appearance of township corridors and entrances are critical to Vernon’s economy as well as the region’s economy and vitality.

This citizens’ advisory committee consists of seven to nine members appointed by the mayor, with each member serving a one-year term.
