Nick Pirro motioned to open the meeting to the public, Ron Williams seconded.
Seeing no members of the public present, Jen Lubliner motioned to close the public comments, Nick Pirro seconded.
Jenn Rodriguez motioned to approve the meeting minutes from 4-6-2021 with minor changes, Ron Williams seconded. All in favor.
ITEM UPDATES:
Township Seal/Branding
Nick Pirro shared the new township seal designs with the committee, and we discussed how it will be implemented with the township.
Fire Hydrant Covers
Jen Lubliner advised that the covers have been installed and will be stained later summer/early fall once they are dried out. The beautification committee will be planting flowers in each of them, and they will be re-used once no longer needed for the hydrants.
SHOP LOCAL DIRECTORY/COMMUNITY GUIDE
Jen Lubliner advised that we are still missing some businesses/organizations. We would like to include a Shop Vernon page and the new township seal.
Nick Pirro advised that we are still in need of some pictures. Discussed possible getting some from the school or local photographers.
Jen Lubliner advised that we will have a rough rough draft to review at the next meeting.
SHOP VERNON PROGRAM
The committee discussed the outreach to local businesses and decided to schedule a meeting over zoom for a presentation on the program.
COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS
Jen Lubliner advised that Joe Tadrick has resigned, and Dan Segal was delayed but will be back next week. She will meet him before the next meeting to catch up on our progress.
