Chair was absent.
Recreation Director Report
Family Olympic Night at the park. Approximately 40 people in attendance enjoying a fun evening.
NJ Stags Football—Held at Skylands. Have requested renting the portable goals. Price is $500 deposit plus $500 fee.
Vernon Day set for 2011 so that we can close the park to teams. June 5, 2011. No rain date.
Snack bar bids for 2011 season—If football wishes to use it they must pay electric. We need to get an early start for next season to get someone to rent it.
Christmas—Hold outside at Maple Grange this year. December 1, 2010. Use the building and get 2 three sided tents for either side of the building. Adam will check with Heaven Hill on a donated rooted tree.
Heaven Hill Farms will hold a “Vernon Residents Day”—One of the Sundays in October they will charge 1/2 price to residents at their haunted maze.
