Committee Reports

Old Business

Disk Golf—At a previous meeting Jessica Paladini was asked about using area at Maple Grange for this event. She planned on asking the Historical Society but felt there shouldn’t be a problem. Harry will contact her again to double check.

Discussion on fees/operations manuals etc and are checking with other towns.

Change of rate per hour across the board for use of fields as of January 1, 2010. This would cover expense of maintenance and increased security.

New Business

We will look into the revenue cost of fields. Idea could be payment to reserve the field and this fund will be dedicated for repairs etc and wouldn’t cost the taxpayers. A new field could run $150K+. To replace the carpet would be $20-$50K alone. Fields should last 20 years but are guaranteed for 10.

Winter activities could be held if a “bubble” was used on the fields. Extend use to year around—more revenue.

September 20, 2009—Proclamation Stamp of Drugs. Concert at the park.

Open to Public

No public in attendance.

Next meeting: August 19, 2009
