Ordinance Amending the Salary Ordinance for “Non-Union” Employees
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A9-165 permits a municipality to establish salaries, wages or compensation to be paid to the officers and employees of the municipality, and
WHEREAS, the Township Council has determined that the salary guidelines should be amended in order to establish salary ranges for non-union employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Township Council of the Township of Vernon, County of Sussex, State of New Jersey, that the following are the salary ranges.

Registrar of Vital Statistics (Stipend) | $4,800 | $6,000 |

OEM Coordinator | $1,500 | $5,000 |
All ordinances of the Township of Vernon which are inconsistent with the provisions of the Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of each inconsistency.
If any chapter, article, division, section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause, or provision of the Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect all remaining portions of this Ordinance.
The Ordinance shall take effect twenty (20) days after final passage, approval and publication after adoption by the Township Council and shall be retroactive to January 1, 2017.
